Then the LORD said to me, “Go again show love to a woman who is loved by another man and is an adulteress, just as the LORD loves the Israelites though they turn to other gods and love raisin cakes.”Īnd Jehovah said unto me, Go again, love a woman beloved of her friend, and an adulteress, even as Jehovah loveth the children of Israel, though they turn unto other gods, and love cakes of raisins.Īnd LORD JEHOVAH said to me: ”Again, go love a woman, an adulteress, who loves evil things, as LORD JEHOVAH loves the children of Israel, and they turned after other gods, and they loved honey cakes of raisins”Īnd the Lord said to me, Go yet, and love a woman that loves evil things, an adulteress, even as the Lord loves the children of Israel, and they have respect to strange gods, and love cakes of dried grapes. Then the LORD said to me, “Go again, love a woman (Gomer) who is beloved by her husband and yet is an adulteress, even as the LORD loves the children of Israel, though they turn to other gods and love the raisin cakes.
Then the LORD said to me, “Go again, love a woman who is loved by her husband, yet an adulteress, even as the LORD loves the sons of Israel, though they turn to other gods and love raisin cakes.” Then the LORD said to me, “Go again, love a woman who is loved by her husband, yet is committing adultery, as the LORD loves the sons of Israel, though they turn to other gods and love raisin cakes.”
Then the LORD said to me, “Go again, love a woman who is loved by a lover and is committing adultery, just like the love of the LORD for the children of Israel, who look to other gods and love the raisin cakes of the pagans.” Then said the LORD unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the LORD toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine. Love her as the LORD loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and offer raisin cakes to idols.” Then the LORD said to me, “Go show love to your wife again, though she is loved by another and is an adulteress. This will illustrate that the LORD still loves Israel, even though the people have turned to other gods and love to worship them.”Īnd the LORD said to me, “Go again, love a woman who is loved by another man and is an adulteress, even as the LORD loves the children of Israel, though they turn to other gods and love cakes of raisins.” Then the LORD said to me, “Go and love your wife again, even though she commits adultery with another lover. Love her as the LORD loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and love the sacred raisin cakes.” The LORD said to me, “Go, show your love to your wife again, though she is loved by another man and is an adulteress.
